# GAMSAT / MCAT bilingual coverage ledger

Audit started 2026-09-13. This is a development ledger, not a completed syllabus audit. Topic labels below are our planning groups. A row marked unassessed may already have useful material in the medical textbook; it must be inspected before being counted. No row is complete.

## Official reference register

- AAMC outline landing page: https://students-residents.aamc.org/prepare-mcat-exam/whats-mcat-exam-pdf-outline — checked 2026-09-13. Links the currently served content outline and free-resource course.
- AAMC linked outline: https://students-residents.aamc.org/media/9261/download — checked 2026-09-13; 111 pages, internally copyright 2020. Current linking does not imply a 2026 document revision. Foundational concept categories and reasoning skills require a subsequent subtopic-by-subtopic crosswalk.
- ACER preparation: https://gamsat.acer.org/preparation — checked 2026-09-13. Use with the current information booklet for the intended sitting. Do not represent our science topic list as an ACER-issued exhaustive syllabus.

## Status rules

Each row needs separate evidence for English lesson, Japanese lesson, paired recall objectives, original application practice, scientific/editorial review, translation review, narration timing, import/update testing, and live release. File existence proves only a draft. Card totals prove neither conceptual depth nor exam readiness. Japanese resources are learning aids; retain English technical terms where useful for exam transfer.

The identifiers below are planning IDs, not new textbook chapter IDs. Bind each to existing canonical chapter/module IDs after inspecting the actual text; allocate new modules only where necessary. Preserve existing note IDs and scheduling compatibility.

## Topic inventory

Unless explicitly noted, all evidence columns are unassessed: lesson EN/JA, cards EN/JA, practice, review and publication.

| Planning ID | Topic / 学習領域 | Current evidence or next action |
|---|---|---|
| Q01 | Units and dilution / 単位と希釈 | 101-1: paired lesson addition, cards 0001–0003 and seven-question bilingual practice draft; review/release pending |
| Q02 | Ratios and percentages / 比と百分率 | 101-1: cards 0004–0005 and practice; broader objective audit pending |
| Q03 | Powers and logarithms / 指数と対数 | Unassessed |
| Q04 | Graphs and scaling / グラフと尺度 | Unassessed |
| Q05 | Uncertainty and sampling / 不確実性と標本抽出 | 101-1: cards 0006–0008 and practice address selected ideas only |

## Immediate release gates

1. Verify the existing 101-1 bilingual practice calculations and correspondence; retain independent review as pending.
2. Link the eight paired quantitative cards to specific lesson objectives and practice questions. Source fingerprints alone are not claim-level evidence.
3. Resolve module 101-1 narration length separately from supplemental exercises; do not insert answer keys into the narration by accident.
4. Audit existing baseline chapters before drafting chemistry prerequisites, then expand a matched lesson/card/practice batch.
5. Build downloadable Anki packages and test first import, reimport without duplicate notes, changed-answer updates and preservation of review scheduling in a disposable profile.
6. Publish bounded releases with live checksum verification. Record the exact commit and which editorial checks remain pending.

## Completion boundary

Expand these groups into atomic objectives with exact official reference locations before claiming comprehensive coverage. GAMSAT reasoning and writing need performance practice in addition to background knowledge. A completed deck cannot establish essay quality or unseen-passage performance. Every release should state which rows changed, not a percentage inferred from total cards.
